CrossFit in Markham/Richmond Hill/Thornhill – Our CrossFit program is a full-body, functional fitness, strength and conditioning program for all levels.
Our goal is to develop your fitness in ALL aspects, with specific emphasis on the 10 primary physical skills:
Strength, Endurance, Stamina, Flexibility, Balance, Coordination, Agility, Accuracy, Speed and Power.
Can anyone do this? Absolutely. Part of what sets us apart is our ability to work with all levels of fitness and background. One of the most powerful elements of CrossFit is that it is scalable to suit the individual. So whether you’re just getting off the couch, or you’ve been an athlete all your life (or somewhere in between!), we meet you where you are and start moving you forward.
What do we mean by “Scaleable”? It means that we can take any stimulus we’re trying to give your body in order to improve your fitness, and suit it to just about any level of:
- Strength (or lack of)
- Flexibility (or lack of)
- Load Capacity (or lack of)
- Technical ability (or lack of)
- -Experience (or lack of)
We work at the RELATIVE INTENSITY level of every individual. In this way our program is both very ACCESSIBLE – Anybody (Any – body!) can do it – and also always CHALLENGING – as you get stronger, we make it harder!
CrossFit Classes are very much like group personal training. You’ll have the benefit of the individualized attention from a certified professional coach, the customized programming that is unique to our community (that will really get you results!), and also the benefit of a group dynamic – the support, comraderie, and acountability that come from making friends in class and supporting each other as we train together.
